A mid 20th century diamond and hardstone acorn brooch. The hardstone acorn and oak leaves, to textured stems, with brilliant-cut diamond scattered highlights. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct. Length 6.6cms. Weight 19.5gms. With Carrington & Co. case.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Soft solder visible to the reverse of the supports for the leaves.
- Diamonds bright and well matched.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Scattered light inclusions. One diamond chipped.
- Acorn is a mottled brown and brownish green.
- Oak leaves are believed to be nephrite jade and are a slightly mottled slightly blusih green hue with mottled brown hues.
