Condition Report

A mid 20th century emerald and diamond floral brooch. Designed as a bi-colour floral spray, the circular-shape emerald and single-cut diamond scattered cluster, with similarly-cut diamond scrolling stems and textured leaves. Estimated total diamond weight 0.85ct. Length 6cms. Weight 10.3gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with some small light and dark inclusions under 10x magnification.
  • Emeralds are a fairly well matched medium slightly blueish green, slightly varied in saturation, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions, some surface reaching.

  • Emeralds in good to fair condition with minor abrasions. One with surface reaching fracture extending across the stone.

  • Stamped BH 18k.
