Condition Report

ROLEX - a mid-size Oyster Perpetual Datejust bracelet watch. Circa 2001. Stainless steel case. Reference 78240, serial K337143. Signed automatic calibre 2235 with quick date set. Copper dial with Roman numeral hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 31mm. Papers.

  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case appears to be in good condition with minor scratches and marks.
  • Crown screws down and has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Bracelet appears to be in a generally good condition, with light scratches and no signs of significant stretching, twisting or distortion of the links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and appears to be in good condition.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 16cm including case.

    This lot comes with an incomplete box with general wear and papers dated 9.3.02. The box has a smoky odour.
