Condition Report
A late Victorian gold sapphire and diamond brooch. The graduated cushion-shape sapphire crescent, with vari-cut diamond spacers. Estimated dimensions of largest sapphire 5.6 by 5 by 2.4mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Diameter 3.4cms. Weight 6.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Replacement clasp.
- Small dents to the gallery/mount.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Diamonds vary in cut and lever and type of inclusions.
- Sapphires are a well matched, fairly vibrant, deep medium very slightly violetish blue hue. Mostly minor, typical inclusions. One with large surface cavity to the reverse.
