Condition Report

An early 20th century platinum emerald and diamond ring. The rectangular-shape emerald, with similarly-shaped emerald sides and old-cut diamond duo spacers. Estimated dimensions of principal emerald 7.1 by 6.5 by 4.2mms. Approximate ring size P. Weight 4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some scratches and small dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band resized, slightly out of shape.
  • Settings shows evidence of repair.
  • Principal emerald is cut-corner rectangular-shape .
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • One diamond with some some surface reaching feather inclusions, two diamonds with small chips.
  • Emeralds are a well matched deep medium slightly blueish green hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions, some surface reaching.

  • Stones in good to fair condition with abrasions and small nicks, central emerald with small cavity to one side.
