Condition Report

Three early 20th century brooches. To include an opal, paste and turquoise insect brooch, a split pearl and enamel leaf bar brooch, with a 9ct gold scrolling bar brooch. One AF. One with hallmarks for 9ct gold. Lengths 2.7 to 4.2cms. Total weight 8.2gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Insect brooch with one antenna deficient.
  • Soft solder visible to reverse of leaf brooch. Possibly adapted into a brooch.
  • Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasions.

  • Enamel in poor condition.
  • Two stamped 9ct.
