A pair of mid 20th century ruby and diamond earrings. Each designed as a pear-shape and brilliant-cut diamond fringe, suspended from a graduated circular-shape ruby crescent and baguette and brilliant-cut diamond scrolls. Total ruby weight 3.60cts. Estimated total diamond weight 3.60 to 4cts. Length 3.3cms. Weight 12.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Diamonds well matched and bright.
- Principal diamonds assessed within the limitations of the setting, grades may differ.
- Principal diamond estimated total weight 1.20cts, G-J colour, VS clarity. One appears to draw less colour.
- Principal diamonds have no obvious inclusions under x10.
- Principal diamonds are pear-shape with moderate bow tie effect.
- Individual size and setting of non principal diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Non principal diamonds have few, minor small inclusions visible under 10x.
- Rubies slightly vary in hue, most appear a deep, slightly purplish red hue, variation in tone, and level of inclusions.
- Rubies in good condition with some abrasion.
- With clip fittings for non-pierced ears.
- Width (at widest) 1.8cms.
