Condition Report

A diamond and aquamarine necklace. The herringbone-link bow, with alternating brilliant-cut diamond and circular-shape aquamarine central line, detachable to the herringbone-link chevron chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Length 46cms. Weight 80.6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Minor to moderate small, scattered inclusions.
  • Aquamarine are a well matched medium, slightly bluish green hue. Minor abrasion.
  • Necklace stamped with partial 9ct gold hallmarks to clasp, maker's mark PP&P.
  • Brooch apparently unmarked.
  • Length of brooch 5.6cms.
