FABERGE - an 18ct gold 'Palais Tsarskoye Selo' enamel locket. Designed as a red guilloche enamel egg, with brilliant-cut diamond highlight geometric motif, opening to reveal a monkey with ruby eyes, suspended from a trace-link chain. Signed Faberge, 1667-26. Total diamond weight 0.29ct. Hallmarks for London. Length of pendant 3.2cms. Length of chain 63cms. Weight 21.9gms. With maker's case and certificate of authenticity.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches with minimal wear.
- Diamonds well matched and bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Diamonds have no obvious inclusions under x10.
- Rubies are a well matched, strongly purplish red hue.
- Rubies in good to fair condition. One with a small chip.
- Enamels in good condition.
- Dimensions of pendant 32 by 16.3mms.
- Stamped 1716-270 to the tag on the chain. Chain possible replacement.
- Chain adjustable, may be worn at 58 or 63cm length.
