Condition Report

An opal and diamond pendant. The pear-shape opal cabochon, with brilliant-cut diamond highlight scrolling surmount. Estimated dimensions of opal 43 by 26 by 7.2mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct. Length 5.7cms. Weight 22.2gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches in keeping with general wear.
  • Diamonds well matched and bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
  • Diamonds have feather inclusions, some with small scattered inclusions.

  • Opal translucent white hue with patches of light yellow. Good play of colour across a range of hues, predominantly oranges, blues and greens.
  • Opal in good condition with moderate crazing.
