A late Georgian gold foil back garnet cross brooch. The circular foil back garnet cluster, with pear and circular-shape foil back garnet quatrefoil surround. One garnet deficient. Length 3.9cms. Weight 6gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, slgiht discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- One garnet appears replacement.
- One garnet is deficient.
- Garnets are foil back and appear a vibrant, deep medium purplish red hue.
- Small surmount loop to one end, believed later addition, soft solder visible.
