A late Georgian portrait miniature clasp. Of oval outline, painted to depict a British Redcoat officer, with mother-of-pearl reverse. Length 4.2cms. Total weight 15gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, general slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Clasp with holes for twelve strands.
- Mother-of-pearl reverse probable later replacement.
- Length of glazed panel 3.7mms.
- Glass with some surface scratches and small nicks.
