A diamond and gem-set bird brooch. Designed as a swallow, with single-cut diamond wings and circular-shape ruby eye, to the woven nest and cultured pearl eggs. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Length 5.6cms. Weight 8.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Back pin slightly bent
- Soft solder trace to the joint between the swallow and the nest.
- Diamond bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Ruby medium to dark purplish red, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.
- Cultured pearls with cream pearly luster, in good condition, with minor damage to the nacre.
- Ruby in good condition with minor abrasion and nibbles to facet edges.
