Condition Report

KUTCHINSKY - a 1970s 18ct gold coral and diamond pendant. The coral disc, with brilliant-cut diamond scroll and textured overlay. Signed Kutchinsky. Estimated total diamond weight 1.75cts. Hallmarks for London, 1971. Length 6.6cms. Weight 49.3gms. With maker's case. Coral untested.

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Surmount hinges to the reverse.
  • Diamonds bright and well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with no obvious inclusions under 10x.
  • Coral untested for natural colour origin.
  • Coral is a mottled light through medium pinky orange hue, with areas of white and small polyp holes.
