Condition Report

A pair of Art Nouveau silver mounted photograph frames, each rectangular aperture with conforming surround embellished with sinuous lines upon a 'basket weave' ground, leading to a vacant cartouche and later added cold enamel accents in green and blue to the floral motifs, all within beaded borders and mounted on a replacement oak easel reverse. Hallmarked W J Myatt & Co., Birmingham 1904. Height measuring 7 2/8 inches (18.7 cm).

Purchasing information
    In refurbished condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Replacement pins. Minor nibbles and crudely cut edges on the glass panels. The easel supports appear slightly loose and move in the frame. Small holes to the silver mount. Hallmarks clear and legible.
