Condition Report

A pair of 18ct gold tanzanite and diamond cluster earrings. Each designed as an oval-shape tanzanite, with brilliant-cut diamond surround. Total tanzanite weight 2.47cts, total diamond weight 0.33ct, each stamped to mount. Hallmarks for Edinburgh. Length 1.2cms. Weight 4.1gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some scratches in keeping with general wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
  • Diamonds have few, small scattered inclusions, few with surface reaching feathers.

  • Tanzanites are a well matched, violetish blue hue, well saturated.
  • Tanzanites in good condition.

  • Estimated dimensions of tanzanites 7.8 by 5.9mms and 7.7 by 5.9mms. Unable to assess depth due to setting.
  • Stamped 750 to butterfly back fittings.
  • With fixed posts for pierced ears.
