Condition Report
A late Victorian gold and silver, diamond and seed pearl brooch. Designed as an old-cut diamond, with rose-cut diamond and seed pearl heart trefoil surround. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.20ct, J-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Austrian marks. Length 2.3cms. Weight 6.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- One of the spacers is deficient.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Principal diamond with eye visible inclusions towards girdle.
- Individual cut, size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
- Seed pearls with red coloured residue towards base, unknown origin, might be jeweller's rouge.
- Seed pearls in otherwise good condition with minor abrasions and typical surface blemishes.
