An 18ct gold Sri Lankan sapphire and diamond ring. The cushion-shape Sri Lankan sapphire, weighing 2.26cts, with rose-cut diamond and triangular-shape sapphire geometric surround. With copy of report 78124-38, dated 10th November 2017, from GCS, stating Sri Lanka (Ceylon), no heat. French assay marks. Ring size L1/2. Weight 3.1gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Metal appears to have a small split to the head by one of the shoulders.
- Band possible later replacement.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Diamonds bright.
- Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight estimation and colour and clarity assessment.
- Diamonds with some small inclusions and surface cavities.

- Principal sapphire in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Non-principal sapphires generally inn good condition, one appears to have a shallow chip to the top.
