A sapphire and diamond dress ring.

Condition Report

A sapphire and diamond dress ring. The cushion-shape sapphire, with rose and old-cut diamond pierced surround, to the calibre-cut sapphire border. Estimated dimensions of principal sapphire 7 by 5.8 by 4mms. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.20ct. Stamped 18ct. Ring size P. Weight 3.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band slightly out of shape.
  • A few gems possible replacements.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched.
  • Individual cut, size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.

  • Old-cut diamonds with mostly small, light and dark, scattered inclusions.
  • Principal sapphire in good to fair condition with some abrasion and a deeper scratch to the table facet.
