Condition Report
A late Victorian gold and silver, diamond and gem-set butterfly brooch. The split pearl body, with ruby eyes, to the rose-cut diamond, vari-shape sapphire and ruby wings. Length 3.8cms. Weight 8.9gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

- Brooch fitting does not screw down, has been soldered solid.
- Evidence of alterations to reverse towards top.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Individual cut, size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
