Condition Report

A pair case quarter repeater pocket watch by Anthony Herbert. Gilt filigree cases. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock with diamond end stone and quarter repeating complication. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Outer case 49mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. Repeating function is currently working.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Hairline crack between four and six.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
  • Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Parts of the filigree patterns in the case have broken and are damaged. Plating is wearing in places.
  • Hinges appear intact with some evidence of repair.
  • Crown has scratches and marks with wear to the plating.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
