A 1920's silver cream or milk jug, the tall oval form with reed rim and flat topped reeded handle, the body with engraved foliate and wavy edged bands above a vacant shield cartouche with ribbon swag surmount. Hallmarked James Rose, Birmingham 1923. Height including handle 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm), weight 4.06 ozt (126.4 grams).
