Condition Report

An early twentieth century silver twin-handled cup, of plain circular form and raised on a square footed base, with presentation inscription to one side and liver bird engraving to the other. Hallmarked William Neale & Son Ltd., Chester 1912. Height including handle 6" (15.2 cm), weight 21.33 ozt (663.5 grams).

Purchasing information
    Heavy tarnishing throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish. General surface wear, marks and scratches and several dints and bumps. Slight compression to foot and consequently wobbles a little. Some surface rubbing to hallmarks, especially the maker's mark, but all legible. Inscription reads 'Challenge Cup Presented by W. J. Terry Esqre. 1926'. Liver bird with small circular panel engraved LEC Liverpool.
