A pair of Edwardian silver filled candlesticks.

Description

Condition Report

A pair of Edwardian silver candlesticks, each with filled oval base having reeded and fluted detail and rising to a conforming shape column with removable nozzle. Hallmarked R Hodd & Son, London 1907. Height measuring 10 inches (25.3 cm).

Please note: When placing absentee bids, your bids will be rounded up to the nearest bid increment. For more information click the 'Important Notices for Purchasers' button above.

Purchasing information
Both candlesticks display some general wear, tarnishing, surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. One of the candlesticks appears to have a repair to the foot rim, a small circular 'let-in' patch. Further possible repairs at the base of the stem and the nozzle also appears jammed in position on this same candlestick. Various minor edge nicks and knocks to both. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
