Condition Report

A Victorian silver vanity bottle, the cylindrical reeded body rising to the similarly decorated collar and hinged cover with central monogram and opening to a silver-gilt interior and glass stopper. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co (Sampson Mordan II), London 1889. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm).

    The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor nibbles to glass, small chip to stopper. Hallmarks clear and legible. Wear to the gilding in high contact areas. Monogram somewhat worn.
