Condition Report

A late 17th century oak gateleg table. Having a two-plank top with oval flaps on bobbin- and ring-turned supports, gateleg action and stretchers, 48” x 18.5” closed/56” open x 30.5” high, (122cm x 47cm/142cm x 77.5cm).

Purchasing information
    General wear (nicks and cracks) to edges of top plus some widening of joint between planks due to shrinkage. Hinges are old replacements. Short end stretchers have pleasing but extreme wear. Short ends may have had drawers? Needs a wax to bring out colour.
