Condition Report
A composite Victorian topaz and diamond pendant. The cushion-shape foil back orange topaz collet and graduated old-cut diamond surrounds, with similarly-cut diamond kite-shape drop, suspended from an old-cut diamond surmount and trace-link chain. Topaz weight 4cts. Estimated total diamond weight 2cts. Length of pendant 5cms. Length of chain 50cms. Total weight 11.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Item made up of antique and component parts varying in age.
- With personal inscription engraved to pendant reverse, dated '1840'.
- Would recommend attention to all settings as some claws deficient/worn.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Some diamonds are drawing more yellow colour tint than the others.
- Topaz is a medium orange, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Topaz is in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Chain stamped 9CT.
