A William IV silver waiter.

Condition Report

A William IV silver waiter, of circular form with scalloped edge shell border and flat chased floral and foliate motifs surrounding a central cartouche with engraved crest, raised upon three shell mounted feet. Hallmarked J Wrangham & William Moulson, London 1831. Diameter measures 7 1/8 inches (18.2 cm), weight 8 ozt (249.2 grams).

Purchasing information
    In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor loss of definition to the scalloped border and chased decoration, the crest is significantly rubbed and worn. Slight compression to the centre of the waiter, with some impressions from the chased decoration beneath. Remnants of polish visible. Hallmarks clear and legible.
