Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Datejust bracelet watch. Circa 1960. Stainless steel case with engine turned bezel. Reference 1603, serial 53600. Signed automatic calibre 1560. Silvered dial with spearhead hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Jubilee bracelet with Oysterclasp. 35mm. Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Wear to automatic bridge from rotor.
  • Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Refinished dial.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. There is a noticeable chip between five and six.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Third party afterset bezel. Dents to the case back, refinishing noticeable. Also included is another third party bezel. Numbers possibly redefined.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Bracelet has scratches with some signs of stretching and some twisting to links. Refinished at some point.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 17cm including case.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
