Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Surmount possibly unoriginal to brooch.
  • Surmount set with rose-cut diamonds.
  • Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight estimation and colour and clarity assessment.

  • Old-cut diamonds well matched.
  • Old-cut diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of old-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Old-cut diamonds with some small dark and light inclusions under 10x magnification.
  • Pearls untested for natural origin.
  • Pearls are a creamy white to slightly discoloured yellowish white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
  • Estimated diameter 6.8 to 4.1mms.
  • Central pearl with drill hole. One pearl accent possible composite.

  • Diameter of brooch (without surmount) 2.9cms.
