Condition Report
A pair of Edwardian silver candlesticks in mid-eighteenth century Georgian style, each with filled and shaped square base rising to a knopped stem, plain socket and removable nozzle of conforming square shape, with foliate embellished corner detail throughout. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1909. Height including nozzle 9 7/8 inches (25 cm).

Purchasing information-
Both displaying some general tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Some surface nicks, dints and bumps including knocks around edges. Some visible seam lines with some splits and cracks in the metal. Solder repairs, most notably to an area of the stem below the lower knop on one of the candlesticks. Residues of wax and polish. Nozzles are quite a tight fit. Hallmarks a little rubbed but still clearly legible, including full matching hallmarks to nozzles, maker's marks with some heavier wear. Also with impressed maker's name and address to undersides of bases.
