A Victorian gold and marble miner's brooch. The freeform gold 'nugget', atop gold-veined marble accent crossed pickaxe and spade, with further 'nugget' and engraved detail. Length 6.4cms. Weight 12gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Wear to the gilt finish.
- Marble with natural fine fissures. Few surface scratches.

- Electronically tests as approximately 14ct gold.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
