A late Victorian 15ct gold turquoise pendant, with 9ct gold chain.

Condition Report

A late Victorian 15ct gold turquoise pendant. Designed as a polished dome, with circular turquoise cabochon, bead and rope-twist stepped surrounds, to the glazed panel reverse, suspended from a tapered surmount and 9ct gold fancy-link chain. Length of pendant 5cms. Length of chain 68cms. Total weight 23.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Reverse with signs of previous brooch fitting, small dents, item has been converted to a pendant.
  • Localised file marks to pendant and chain.
  • Some turquoise possibly later replacements.
  • Turquoise are a fairly matched medium greenish-blue hue.

  • Turquoise are in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to some surfaces.
