Condition Report

A pink sapphire bead necklace. Comprising twenty-nine graduated pink sapphire beads, measuring 21.7 to 11.7mms, to the pave-set diamond and circular-shape ruby oval clasp. With report 14187, dated 9th of May 2017, from The Gem & Pearl Lab, stating four loose beads natural, no heat. Estimated total diamond weight 1.60cts. Length 50cms. Total weight 295.8gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Please see report for full details of the pink sapphire beads, please note report is based on four loose beads, measurements of largest to smallest bead currently on the necklace is larger than stated on report, measuring 21.7 to 11.7mms.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Some diamonds with minor scattered inclusions.
  • Sapphire beads are a pinkish-purple hue, fairly matched, in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to some surfaces.

  • Rubies are well matched, medium red hue, in good condition, with minor abrasions.
