Description

Condition Report

A natural pearl and diamond cluster pendant. The black pearl, measuring approximately 11.1 by 10.9 by 9.3mms, with old-cut diamond scalloped surround, suspended from an integral trace-link chain. With report 79192-44, dated 19th December 2018, from GCS, stating natural, saltwater, no indications of treatment. Estimated total diamond weight 0.90ct. Diameter of pendant 1.8cms. Length of chain 41cms. Weight 8.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Clasp appears to have some damage. Still functioning.
  • Evidence of possible repairs/ alterations.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched. Few appear to draw slightly more colour.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with some small to moderate inclusions. One with a significant chip to the table and two with smaller chips.

  • Numerous small scratches to the surface of the pearl.
