A gentleman's yellow metal chronograph wrist watch.

Condition Report

A gentleman's chronograph wrist watch. Yellow metal case, stamped 18k with poincon. Numbered 487917. Unsigned manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine, outer minute and telemeter track. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 37mm.

Purchasing information
  • The watch appears to be running. However, the chronograph does not function and will require attention.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • The dial is in poor condition and shows marks throughout, loose detritus and general discolouration.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint. The chronograph seconds may have been repainted.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. The case back is quite loose and may require attention.
  • Crown has scratches and marks with wear to the plating.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
