Condition Report

A late Victorian 15ct gold multi-gem and enamel necklace, comprising sapphire, emerald, demantoid garnet and further gems, with floral spacer back-chain. Sapphire calculated weight 1.21cts, based on estimated dimensions of 6.2 by 5.5 by 3.8mms. Length 40cms. 16.8gms. With fitted Bright & Sons Scarborough case and original receipt listing the gems.

  • Overall condition very good.
  • Some acid discolouration to the back of the chain.
  • Safety clasp presumed later.
  • Enamel in very good condition.
