Condition Report

SEIKO - a Sports 100 'Ripley' chronograph bracelet watch. PVD-coated stainless steel case with stainless steel case back stamped 'SAMPLE'. Case width 43mm. Reference 7A28-7009, serial 333801. Signed quartz calibre 7A28. Grey and black dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three, six and nine. Fitted to a signed PVD-coated stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp. Box.

Purchasing information

    Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but the hour counter has not been tested due to time constraints. Pushers require attention as they are not currently functioning.

    Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.

    Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.

    Glass has scratches and marks. 

    Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. PVD coating wearing off near yellow pushers.

    Crown has scratches and marks.

    Bracelet has scratches and some signs of stretching to links. PVD coating wearing off.

    Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. PVD coating worn.

    Bracelet measures approximately 17cm including case.

    This lot comes with a box  but no papers. Damage to box, held together by tape.
