The teapot slants forward on its base when pressed down on, as the base bends up slightly at the spout end. The lid does not close flush, there is a small gap to one side. The handle and finial are in a good condition. There are general wear and tear scratches to the teapot with a noticeable small dint to the upper main body, and also one to the tip of the spout. The inside is very dirty. There are corresponding hallmarks to the body and lid, the hallmark on the body is very rubbed but still just distinguishable.
