Lot Description

A late Victorian 18ct gold memorial ring, the split pearl marquise-shape surround, to the black enamel woven shoulders, together with an oval onyx cabochon brooch with split pearl star and 9ct gold bead surround. Ring with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1900. Length of brooch 4.4cms. Total weight 9.4gms.

The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The central panel of the ring is deficient. The enamel is chipped and abraded with small losses. Ring size N 1/2. Length of marquise-shape inset approximately 11mms. The brooch has a replacement base metal pin. Stamped 9ct. The split pearl star is slightly loose.
