The vinaigrette displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Some deeper nicks and scratches are visible, also some rounding of the edges.  There are some darker solder(?) patches around the thumbpiece.  Hinges are in working order.  Grille hinges is also working, however it is a tight fit as when it is opened it makes very close contact with the lid.  Slight pressure indent to grille.  The hallmarks and part hallmarks are clear and legible.
