Lot Description
A George III silver cream jug, the bellied body with oblique floral embossing and a vacant cartouche, a leaf capped scrolling handle, above three shell mounted paw feet, hallmarked David Mowden, London 1761. Together with a small Victorian silver bowl with foliate decoration and beaded detailing around the borders and four cartouche, one personally inscribed, hallmarked Stephen Smith, London 1877. Height of cream jug 3 3/5 inches (9.7 cm), combined weight 6 ozt (187 grams). (2).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There is loss of detail and dents to the cream jug, the handle looks as though it may have been repaired, one side of the spout is slightly distorted, two legs have been compressed inwards, the hallmarks are rubbed but legible. The bowl is in overall good condition with only minor scratches and patches of discolouration, all marks are clear and legible.
