Lot Description

A late Victorian silver jug, the tapered body, raised on a circular foot rim, with wide spout and scalloped rim, to the plain handle. Hallmarked Stephen Smith, London 1878. Length 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 5.43 ozt (169 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Small, shallow dents to the bowl. Slight fold line to the rim of the spout. General black spotting.
