A mid-nineteenth century 9ct gold mounted citrine vinaigrette, the faceted citrine lid and base, with floral embossed mounts, to the simple pierced grille. Length 2.9 cm, weight 22.4 grams.

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Tiny blob of soft solder, or similar, to the mount. The citrine is a pale brownish-yellow hue. Moderate facet-edge abrasion. Unmarked, tests as 9 ct.
