Lot Description

A 1920's silver child's rattle modelled in the form of a squirrel holding a nut with two suspending bells and a mother-of-pearl mouthpiece, missing teething ring. Hallmarked Crisford & Norris Ltd., Birmingham 1929. Height measuring 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm).

Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying areas of tarnishing, general surface marks and scratches and a few minor dints and bumps. Some rubbing and surface wear with slight loss of detail to areas of the fur. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
