Lot Description

A 1930's silver child's rattle modelled as a double sided teddy bear with two suspending bells and a mother-of-pearl mouthpiece, also with teething ring. Hallmarked Crisford & Norris Ltd., Birmingham 1933. Height excluding teether measures 3 5/8 inches (9.2 cm).

The rattle appears quite tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. General surface marks and scratches. There is some surface wear and rubbing with slight loss of detail to areas of the fur. General surface wear to both the mouthpiece and teething ring. Hallmarks a little distorted but still legible.
