Lot Description
A 1960's silver caster, of typical baluster form with pierced removable cover, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., London 1965, height inclusive of finial measuring 5 7/8 inches (15 cm). Together with a modern silver mounted coaster with gadrooned rim and wooden base, hallmarked Barker Ellis Silver Co., Birmingham 1968. Weight of caster 5.2 ozt (161.7 grams). (2).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The caster has heavier tarnishing to the body and some minor loss of definition around edges and to the pierced cover. Hallmarks clear and legible.
