Lot Description

A cased 1930's silver condiment set comprising a mustard pot and open salt with blue glass liners and a pepper pot, each of circular footed form with gadroon borders, hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1937, in a fitted case with a pair of later condiment spoons hallmarked William Suckling Ltd., Birmingham 1959. Silver weight 7.35 ozt (228.5 grams).

The lot appears in good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Hinged lid of mustard pot appears in good working order. All three numbered 36726. Spoons also appear in good overall condition. Some surface rubbing to hallmarks but mostly clear and legible. Glass liners in good condition, probably replacement. Case also in good condition with light general wear.
