Condition Report
In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The pepper is quite tarnished and would benefit from a clean, the enamel is in good condition, the removable cover has a bayonet locking mechanism, marks clear and legible. The duck figure is missing both its feet but is still able to stand. The other miniature figure may have been a finial off something else, or possibly part of a seal. The enamelled vesta case has the saying 'necessite n'a pas de loi' beneath the image which translate to 'necessity has no law', significant losses and cracks to the enamel on the interior, some chips and losses of definition to the enamelled top.
