An Edwardian silver mounted miniature pin cushion modelled in the form of a hatching chick, with realistic feather decoration. Hallmarked Chester 1907, maker's mark worn and illegible. Height measuring 1 inch (2.5 cm).

Displaying some tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. A few minor surface dints and bumps. Cracks visible to top of head and possible repairs? Some rubbing and slight loss of surface detail to areas of the decoration. Likely replacement cushion material. Hallmarked to base, legible with light rubbing but maker's mark completely worn. Also registered number 475678.
